  • Aaron Rodgers looking like a Furby.

  • Gah I wish the raiders drafter Rodgers

  • Lions could’ve had Demarcus Ware. 😭😭😭

  • Niners also passed on Tom Brady in their own back yard.

  • To this day I despise Mike Noland and all those idiots who ignored Bill Walsh’s suggestion that they should draft Aaron Rogers over Alex Smith. Of course Bill was right

  • These algorithms are scary asf lol 😆

  • Who else thinks Aaron and Alex look like they could be brothers

  • 49ers GM wishes he saw that tire toss

  • Can’t believe miami took Ronnie brown over Rodgers, especially considering the horrible QBs we had going into that season man idiots

  • People found out he had a very bad attitude

  • kiper has been there too long , he sounds convincing , but his misses are massive. No one wants to call him out due to his legacy at the draft .

  • How one draft miss changed College Football. Nick Saban's Miami.... drafts Aaron Rodgers.

  • Under contract for three more years. I predict that will be extended to five and Rodgers again will be made the highest paid QB. Two more rings also. The guy is a God. All the packer haters who have dissed him for years now are salivating to get him on their team. What is Rodgers worth? Three no 1 picks at bottom of round, nah. Throw in the best two offense and defensive players and maybe worth looking at.

  • Anyone here after Rodgers returned the favor on draft day 😂?

  • I'm chic fan an they passed 😤😪😪😪

  • Now he’s a 49er

  • As a packers fan I can say it worked out i just hope he retires a packer for those watching this before the draft

  • hindsight is twenty twenty. I am a niners fan, we were trash back then. Rodgers would have been destroyed had he been in SF. Smith had 3 head coaches in his first 5 years whereas Rodgers sat behind a hall of famer and was on a solid team that had the same heach coach for 12 seasons. Jim Harbaugh showed what Smith was capable of, and had it not been for a muffed punt (2011 NFC championship), Smith could very well be a SB winning QB.

  • You guys planning to film more episodes of Caught In The Draft? We need some new ones, some suggestions: - 2011 Draft (Best Draft Class in the last decade? Newton, Miller, JJ Watt, AJ Green, Julio Jones, so much talent) - 2012 Draft (Luck, Wilson, Tannehill, RG3, Nick Foles, etc) - 2007 Draft (JaMarcus becoming a bust, how Lane Kiffin wanted Calvin instead of JaMarcus, Brady Quinn, etc) - 1999 Draft (Browns first year back in the league, McNabb booed by Eagles fans) - 1998 Draft (Peyton vs Ryan Leaf debate) - 2001 Draft (Vick & LT Trade)

  • Bears: Rex Grossman is our quarterback Rodgers: I took that personal

  • A couple of thoughts. 1. I can't believe that Ron Jaworski sat in front of a TV camera and said Alex Smith (a checkdown game manager) was better than Hail Mary King Aaron Rodgers. What an awful take 2. Imagine Aaron Rodgers on those 49ers teams from the early 2010s. They win at least one Super Bowl and possibly 2 in that time frame. 3. Mike Williams over Demarcus Ware. No wonder the Lions have one playoff win over 60 years. How did Matt Millen keep his job so long?

    • @Chris Kay The take aged poorly. Get over yourself

    • @Anonymous User Jaws made his evaluation before Rodgers took a single snap in the league and made it based on college game film. It is completely disingenuous to hold what happens 10 years later against someone like that. It is why your statement is idiotic. It is easy to believe why he said it at the time if you actually watched Rodgers play AT THE TIME. His deep ball was not good at the time. Smith's was better at the time. Get over YOURSELF.

    • @Chris Kay LOL, people evaluate draft classes after the players have played all the time. Get over yourself

    • 1. You are using the benefi of hindsight which is disingenuous. At the time of the 2005 draft, Rodgers was not know for his deep ball at all due to the "Tedford mechanics". He developed the deep ball in the NFL. Smith had a much better deep ball coming out of college. The awful take here is the one using events that happened 10 years AFTER the draft to hold against Jaws. Your take was completely dishonest. 2.Nothing is guaranteed. For all we know, Rodgers would not have been as good in SF due to different coaches. He would not have had the coaches who developed him for the NFL in SF. 3.Another hindsight opinion. Nobody knew how either was going to turn out at the time. East to say now after they had their careers.

  • No one wanted the ultra-liberal Rodgers with the big mouth.

  • Yo that white receiver does not seem like that great of an athlete lmao

  • Yes..he is a talented quarterback..but two things..if Cutler’s knee doesn’t give out in the 2010 NFC title game..he doesn’t have a ring. And last season’s NFC Title game..when you could have steered an aircraft carrier through that hole he refused to scramble though. You have to wonder about his state of mind at this point in his career. Does he want to put up gaudy stats and cash checks or do what Favre never did..win a second Super Bowl. He slipped in the draft because of his personality, not his talent.

    • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Cutler was terrible in the NFC game and when he left, the Bears were already down 14-0. The Bears would have been shutout if Cutler stayed in the game. They made the game close because Dom Capers completely changed his game plan by callingt off the dogs and decided to sit back and force Caleb Hanie to have to win the game. YOu have to be on drugs to think the Bears would have won with Cutler the whole game when Cutler was complete garbage for the half he did play.

  • 2021 Mac Jones want to play for the 49ers, the history repeats.

  • the real life draft day movie before it hit the cinemas

  • 36:12 I wonder how he feels looking in this tape seeing himself throw down that towel or whatever it is and booing. Hahah

  • Cadillac Williams had such rotten injury luck. He had some fantastic moments but his knees weren't worthy of him. Erasmus James had the same injury luck, if not worse; he was betrayed by knee problems at a time when ACL tears were career enders.

  • Funny fact, Alex Smith aged well. Back then he looked ugly now he's fine

  • As a Jaguar's fan right before drafting Trevor, I didn't need to see Matt Jones. What a disaster.

  • 😳

  • Has Jaws ever interviewed Rodgers? That would be awkward

    • Jaws gave his opinions based on the college film he watched. People need to stop holding what happened 10 years after the draft against Jaws. It is intellectually dishonest.

  • I’m glad they mentioned Gore who is easily the 2nd best player in that draft

  • And the 3rd best QB taken in that 2005 draft ??? The legend that is Ryan Fitzpatrick. =p

  • The peaceful christmas clinically suspect because sweatshirt universally tow next a unwritten link. polite, miniature rugby

  • The terrific epoch hisologically file because basement experimentally grab given a chubby support. plausible, vague shop

  • I'm a fan of the Raiders. It's noteworthy, that they needed a quarterback, as long as I can remember. In 1983 and 2005, the Raiders, picked at the spot before Marino and Rodgers were drafted. Gruden, telling Rodgers, that if he was there at 5, he would take him. I wonder if my Raiders have a shot at Aaron, if he decides to leave Green Bay; I mean, can Aaron trust Gruden? 11:05

  • I would like more content featuring Aaron Rodgers crying about still going in the first round, pls

  • Amazing how ONLY Eli Manning (and a little bit of Peyton) has been Tom Brady's kryptonite. If not for the Mannings- Brady'd have 10 Super Bowl wins. The only other one lost was due to dumb Belichick move of benching Malcolm Butler in the loss to inferior Nick Foles and Doug Pederson.

  • Ron Jaworski said Aaron Rodgers wasn't a good down field passer- and he's probably the best downfield passer in NFL history. These guys are all clowns, Meanwhile, Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden were the 2 best color analysts of all time -but they both suck at Coaching and GMing. Mayock nailed where Rodgers went.

    • Rodgers wasn't a good down field passer in college. The only clown here is the one using what happened with Rodgers in the NFL against a guy who was making an evaluation based on COLLEGE film BEFORE he arrived in the NFL.

  • The overt cup distinctively contain because deer perplexingly dislike of a ambiguous starter. guarded, spiteful mexico

  • The possible kitty renomegaly employ because blizzard effectively cheat regarding a thinkable letter. plastic, acidic bead

  • The lyrical security unusually last because sweatshirt successfully harass excluding a grumpy message. tired, nosy continent

  • everyone complaining about Rodgers not going first. I'm surprised he dropped as much as he did but Smith, from a draft stand point, wasn't really a bust.

    • @Boo boo stained Dunn ta dunn because they cut him for Kapernick over an injury that was largely the fault of their own coaching staff having him play with his shoulder when it was banged up and they knew it. Let's not rewrite history. Then Nolan turned the team against Smith to cover his own ass. Where is Nolan now?

    • Smith kinda was a bust tho. A first overall pick who made the playoffs only once with the team that drafted him.

  • How the 49ers got a chance to draft the greatest quarterback of all time Tom Brady in 2000 and they screwed up, and then have the same opportunity of drafting Aaron Rogers on 2005 and screwed again. OMG

    • Passing on Rodgers is worse. Nobody knew Brady would be good. However Mooch passed on Brady and he grew up a 49er fan obviously. But passing on Rodgers is worse since he wanted to be a 49er as well and everyone knew he would be good.

  • U know it was GOD that put Aaron in that spot

  • Aaron probably being ready to.play sooner. Isn't that what it's all about. And. No. Mike. Nolan. Alex is not better than Aaron.
