A goal from a corner kick. We definitely want to see more of that. The same with the long and accurate pass that found Pellistri and his pass to Dalot, which resulted in a goal by Garnacho. Martial positioning himself away from other players in case the ball into the box was over hit was superb and he got his goal. It was good that Rashwood didn’t start. I think he takes it upon himself to try and win instead of playing as a team. He holds the ball longer than is necessary and tries to dribble through even when surrounded.
I usually say Rashford suffers from 'superstar mentality' which is to say that, he wants to be the one being praised for when the team wins, that is why he is selfish with the ball
His decision making needs to improve. He needs to trust his teammates with the ball more. He usually gives the ball to a teammate after trying and failing to dribble past someone.
Rashford would be much better if he was less selfish. Trying to "force goals" makes him ignore his teammates in better positions and turn selfish.

Casemiro is now 32, he doesn't need to be paired with midfielders that dont have enough energy. Mount and Ambrabat were so energetic and it gives Casemiro the chance to do his things freely. Pellistri was topnotched, mount was on fire. In overall, my team will do well when we return from injury completely.

I think this is their best performance so far, full controll, creating big chances and win so many duels, Facu Pellistri receive so many ball at the edge of penalty box, this is something we dont see from Anthony who likely receive the ball near the touchline and then delay the attack because strugglling to get past the defender..I hope Pellestri keep playing like this.

The way Pellistri glides with the ball is Messi-esque. Of all the players I've watched in recent times he gives that feeling most. He's still a longgggg way off, needs to improve decision making in the final 3rd, and needs to score more. But the signs he could be more are all there, just needs to just continue training and working hard.
This game gave me hope that we were getting back on track that I went ahead and ordered all three jerseys for this season (like I always do)...then we lost to the same team yesterday🤦🏽. But fact is we played very well yesterday, it was just one of those games🤷🏾♂️

With Amrabat around, Cas have more ability to roam around doing what he does best. And with no selfish plays, the team can actually score goals. And big shout out for Harry. With everyone mocking him, the club obviously wanted to sell him, he kept his head cool, work hard in training, no drama, no bs, hope it pays off for him.
At the end we could see how Pellestri can be really dangerous with his link-up play and tricky feets in the short spaces

Evans has been more of a threat in 2 games in set pieces than Maguire has ever been.
If the coaching staff are clinical and able to manage players like Verane and Amrabat from injury, pairing them with Maguire and Casimero respectively, they can create one of the deadliest build-up systems for attacking transition right from behind through midfield in their Competitions.
Antony would have done well with hojlund in- those 1-2's with Pellistri(played well too) would have been great for a left-footed player who likes cutting in. Plus Hojlund does well setting up play, shielding the ball to set up his wingers

Today clearly showed that United are not as bad as it is made out to be. When most of your potential 1st team players are injured, it becomes very difficult for a manager to get results. Especially when the manager is trying to instill a new style of play because there is no rhythm and consistency. It matters when as a group you play together for longer time. Unfortunately, constant chopping and changing due to injuries and off-field antics has ruined United's hope of challenging for a title this year. Now it is just a Top 4 fight and pick-up a cup along the way maybe like last year.
