Friends, welcome to the FINAL part of our FNAF Timeline, t's been quite a ride putting this all together! Sure, there may still be some unanswered questions but I truly feel like this timeline solves a lot of questions that we've had for a long time and honestly poses some really interesting new ones.     Coming away from this whole timeline, I think the biggest thing I'm left wanting is a closer look back at the very early years. You've done an amazing job putting together the incredibly complex pieces of this franchise, but the one line in your first video about Afton being inspired by the work of Walt Disney hit me harder than any of the death and spirits and robots of the whole rest of the timeline.

    I think the reason the CEO seems to be against the afton virus escaping is because, as matpat points out, Mrs. afton wants the family TOGETHER which can't happen if William goes right back to murder the second he's revived, she wants the virus for herself NOT out in the world doing its own thing

    As much as complicated the FNAF lore has always been, we should all still give respect that this one man has never given up on making us intrigued no matter what. Believe me if FNAF never happened, then MatPat would have never gotten the respect and passion he made to create one of the biggest phenomenons on not just Five Nights at Freddy’s, but gaming history in general. So MatPat I just want to say thank you for always never giving up on your theories and giving us so much interesting content that impacted so much over the years.

    Assuming this theory is dead on, a simple change in how security breach was presented could have made it so much better, how the puppet was always lingering in the background, the sheds of Michael through Glamrock Freddy, I really do think that if it was told in a different tone in mind it could’ve been the best game in the franchise (again this is under the assumption this theory is true)

      FuhNaff has pretty much debunked this. He found a mini game in FNaF World that mirrors the story of Help Wanted scarily well, and this shows that Scott at least doesn't stoop this low. You should watch his video if you want more context. It's in one of his theory videos.

    My biggest issue with this is the Mrs Aston stuff, I get where you’re coming from but it requires us to ascribe a lot of motivation and characteristics to a character w empowered literally nothing about In order for any of this to work Mrs Afton would have to be just as much of a genius and just as horrible a person as William but have none of that ever be mentioned before

    Huge congratulations to MatPat for this amazing work! We've been waiting for a FNAF timeline from this channel for so long, and it's finally here! What a game. However, I would have preferred the frachise to end in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. I think that Scott and the new team in charge overexploited the lore with the last games, but this is just my opinion.

    I was unsure first as for me Balloras song would imply her already being dead. But as there could be several other explanations on why Ballora has the pov of Clara its not something that is set in stone and could very well mean that Clara is the CEO. Also it makes sense in the narrative. And I quite honestly like her also being there and being the new villain. Like they truly were a couple and did love eachother at one point and both want the same thing

    I know that things need to happen this way for plot's sake, but I can't help but feel like a lot of these plot points would have been resolved earlier if someone along the lines had the thought to hire a private investigator, bounty hunter, or any type of mercenary type to go rogue animontric/spirit/serial killer hunting.

    The explanation I considered for the circuit boards is that the adult robot Elizabeth sent the circuit boards in order to resurrect William in the form of Glitchtrap, but Glitchtrap made her steal them back after he came back through Vanessa so he wouldn't have to compete with other copies of himself. That also explains why Vanessa is so important for bringing the family back together when Elizabot already exists-- she's got Dad inside her head.

    This entire theory was just what I personally thought happened. I love the idea of Mrs.Afton taking over the main seat after William. Seeing it being basically made confirmed until the DLC by the larger community is not only cathartic, but also means that I was right in the end. :^)

    I absolutely love these videos and I’m so glad to have been able to watch these videos for so long. I’m sure someone else has said it too, but perhaps the reason Mrs. Afton, should she be the CEO, doesn’t want the virus to spread is because she’s only trying to bring back the ‘positive’ aspects of Afton. Glitch Trap seems to be everything negative, as past theories have covered, he’s practically the head of a cult trying to spread the murder. She doesn’t want a repeat to destroy her new family, so she sees glitch trap spreading and is like “haha- no.”

    The idea that Clara Afton is a new sorta antagonist for the series implies that a certain ballerina may be returning. It would kinda be poetic if she were to meet a similar fate to her husband, having her soul trapped in a ballora animatronic somehow

    In the last FNAF video, MatPat said that we’d either LOVE or HATE this one. And I’m happy to say that I LOVE THIS. I think that it makes a lot of sense. I’ve seen and heard a lot about this part of the franchise and I think it’s great that it finally fits together in a narrative way. Whether or not any of this was ever intended, it doesn’t matter. I love this Story that the “FNAF Boys” came up with. The whole timeline is great, even if there’s a lot of logical jumps. But this is Five Nights at Freddy’s, after all.

    This was a great series of videos. I loved the way it was done and made for a super interesting watch. I had a guess why the mom might want to limit the spread of Glitch trap. She could be worried that he would try and take control. William as you described in the videos may not be happy to play second fiddle.

      @Hadeks Marow in Ultimate Custom Night , that Ballora is not real , she is a version created by Cassidy. In sister location we play as Michael Afton so ye and Ballora have Remnant Inside of her , which is why she is self aware

    What had me wondering at the start, with him using Ballora's lines to set up Clara Afton's motivations... Why would William have programmed Ballora to say all that? The idea that her soul was in there was the fandom's reasoning for the bizarrely personal touches, including the "you wanted to let me in" line _which Mat included in the video as evidence._
