fantastic game to watch & thats the best I've seen Walcott play for about 5 seasons!! He should have putt hat chance away though when 1 on 1 with Degea. "That" tackle was a Red all day. He could have ended the players season quite easily. It wasn't intentional but it doesn't need to be, it was wreckless and dangerous.

I cannot stand Man Utd, but a sending off? Never in a million years. A game being ruined by Pansy Officials, who wouldn't know a genuine challenge if it hit them in the face, which I wish it would. Scythe a Player from behind, because he is in on goal and he needs to be stopped, is called "taking one for the Team", and is fine apparently, as all that gets is a yellow. "Cheat", by throwing yourself to the floor tying to con a penalty, that is fine too....yellow card only. Make a genuine attempt for the ball? Heaven forbid, send him off!!! It has become sad days in Football over recent times and the game, thanks to various FA Committees, who have never played the game in their lives, are ruining it.

Man United fans are forgetting that mctominay pretty much caught the ball in the box and got away with it at the beginning of the season
Casemiro played the ball that directed his foot unfortunately against the leg of the S.player. Yellow was also questionable. Manchester United should have been given a penalty. The fact that he slides away isn't an excuse for playing the ball with chest and arm. Ten Hag made it clear. The way the VAR is operating is not the way players in general like it. Give teams 2 EagleEye moments. If they ask for a VAR check and the VAR decides that was a correct request, then you keep your two Eagle-Eye moments during the game. Another issue is red and yellow cards. I am a referee myself and I would like to plead for another card in the game; orange. Orange for discutable fouls. There are so many matches with questionable fouls, is it red...only yellow...introduce the orange card. If you are banned with four yellow cards, then you will be banned with 2 orange cards or 1 orange card and 2 yellow cards and of course 1 red card. Let me know what you think about it.

Southampton deserved more than a draw. That dangerous tackle has to be revised and investigated thoroughly by the FA, imho.
@Anonymous Puppet Doesn't matter the intention doesn't matter if he got the ball, it's reckless play when you slide in with your studs up as you are out of control and cannot stop. Yes should've been a penalty for handball, same as Bournemouth getting away with several at Arsenal but being punished against Liverpool for an almost identical incident. There has always been inconsistency among refs from the blind to the draconian it's a very hard job to referee I've done it, the problem now with VAR is we all see everything and we have evidence that is easier to compare, but yes you're right it can be maddening.

Man he could easily have kept his leg lower so he wouldn't even have the chance of that. He's gone for the ball yes but has his studs showing at least a foot of the ground so it's dangerous even if he won the ball

You guys are lucky that Anthony Taylor and Andre Mariner were referees for the match. Check out the tackle on Felix last match. The same Andre Mariner left it unchecked..... The same Andre Mariner sent off Casemiro the first time as well. You all are just looking at it in a smaller and narrow perspective. Officials like them should be banned from officiating any matches.
@J Anda He wasn't already booked or it would have been a red anyway for a second yellow. Ref changed the decision to red after seeing more clearly that it was a dangerous tackle with a high foot.

Andre Mariner was the same VAR ref that sent off Casemiro the first time. The same ref that let go of 3 fouls that were worthy of red during Leicester and Chelsea's game. Check the foul on Felix. Worse than Casemiro's but went unchecked. At this rate, I won't be surprised if he's found dead in a dumpster.
And that one to Garnacho deserved at least a yellow too. It wasn't even a foul, what a ref.
