    10:02 There’s a much weirder way to solve this that I learned about recently: Walls! Set up a 3x1 pillar of walls as high as you want the signal to go. Place an observer looking at the middle wall on the top. Then, place a sticky piston 3 blocks away from the bottom wall, facing the pillar. Put a wall on it, and bam! Whenever the piston activates, it pushes the wall so that it’s next to the stack, changing the appearance of every wall in the stack in a single frame. The observer at the top picks up the block state change, and your signal has been moved up. Can’t remember if it works going downwards.

      This is a way of doing something called an "instant repeater". It's fairly obvious what it does by the name. It's mostly used when you want a 0 latency redstone line. There's also a sideways version, I believe.

    "How do you run a redstone signal all the way up there vertically?" Minecraft 1.16 update brings a new feature which has to do with walls. If u put walls of width 3 blocks or more, it becomes flat but if u put a block on bottom or on top of the middle block, it changes. Thus u can make a tower of walls and put a piston on the ground to push and pull a block below the center of the wall and an observer on top of the tower which detects the signal and powers you're magnificent contraption. Hope this helps!

    for quick vertical redstone transmission, you can use cobble wall/fence with observer, and cobble fence changes its state when there is a block contacting them

    10:10 you could have used a wallsignal. The wall is 3 block wide and x block high, to activate it you just have to push a block to the middle wall and then the wall gets a bit thicker. on top you can use a observer to see, if the wall changed
