  • "Disney turned the franchise into fifa with lightsabers." This hit home hard🤣

    • I assume it must be an American / Rest of the world culture thing - FIFA would be like American Madden games I guess

    • Except Disney rarely uses lightsabers

    • Actually, That's more of EA's doing. Disney is lack of consistently.

    • @Nick copy and paste from 2010-ish to 2022🤣

    • I’ve never played fifa but feel this

  • So Reva's motivation is: she blames a guy for not stopping the massacre of her Jedi friends by his apprentice cause he was too busy riding a lizard and chasing a four-armed robot driving a unicycle, so she joins a group of Jedi killers where she spends years killing Jedi, torturing children and civilians so she can kill that guy for killing Jedi and that way get revenge on the guy that trained the guy that killed the Jedi. When that doesn't work she goes off to murder a child on a random planet. She changes her mind so all the years of war crimes are instantly forgiven. I bet that woman whose hand she just chopped off to prove a point would just love that. And, she killed Wade, ffs. I'm told grown human beings wrote this stuff.

    • 🤓🤓🤓🤓

    • @James Scott Nah. Luke saw some sood in his Father on his death bed...A son and a Father. No one forgave anyone and Vader died. If he'd lived he'd have been tried for war crimes by the rebels. Obi Wan just let her go?! Wtf. Even if he didn't kill her at least take her in for questioning, she has Intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the Empire, invaluable information for the Rebels. Space Ice Cube could have interrogated her. The writers on this show were high school kids... it's the only explanation.

    • the perfect synopsis.

    • I feel you, man. I really do feel you.

    • It's a shame I can't add a comment to a favorites list somewhere.

  • The line “looks bad for a movie but good for a TV show” is exactly how I feel about all the Disney+ shows so far lol

    • Dude even externals and movies for cinema are now like series.

    • I wouldn't know. I've felt Disney was toxic since before Disney+, and I will never give Disney my money. I stopped giving those reprobates my money after Avengers Endgame.

    • Except Loki

    • It looks balls for a TV show too. Dreadful show.

    • Personally I didn't think this was good even for a TV show.

  • My favorite part of the show was when Obi Wan looked into the camera and said “It’s Kenobin Time!”

    • i read this in George Lucas's voice

    • Looks like I Obi Won.

    • And then he kenobied all over Anakin !

    • lol

    • I'm just so glad for Hayden Christensen. He signed onto Star Wars to play Vader, and he really didn't get that chance in full until now.

  • Obi Wan proved to me that people will ignore plot holes, bad writing, messing up canon, etc simply because the Star Wars label is slapped on it

    • The TVA in episode 1 takes away all free will from the MCU. You don’t make the correct decision? You are melted. That means no one before Loki ever made a decision that was their choice. If they ever went against the timeline, they were melted.

    • @TypeCero Elaborate?

    • Hell y’all should have caught on in Loki. The very first episode took away EVERYONE’S FREE WILL. But the audience was completely oblivious to how much that damaged the entire MCU.

    • yup these shows are offensive to me.. its the action scenes that physically do not make sense or are impossible (e.g. from leia chase, people getting stopped by things that are not actually obstacles) that annoy me the most

    • @Amanda Kristine Thats when it sealed the deal. When Boba Fett and Eternals (not SW but still a big brand) came out I started having my strong suspicions

  • "It's literally the only way Sith get promoted" lol that's so damn true.

    • That's basically The Sith and The Dark Side in a nutshell tbh.

    • Like Klingons.

    • ok

    • @Jason Blalock But, then there's that whole Sith "Rule of Two". So, only two people in the galaxy can be Sith Lords at a time. (Master & Apprentice) So does that mean, there are just like tons of evil force sensitive people out there, just waiting for their big break? "Come on already! Hurry up and kill your master so I can in!"

    • Yeah, he kind of answered his own question there.

  • My biggest issue with the series is how it didn’t have any stakes. We already know the fate of the characters from the OT, and the show didn’t do a good enough job at making me care about the new characters like Reva. Because of that, all of the times it tried to build tension just fell flat and felt kind of ridiculous.

    • @Mark Milton But they're delicious.

    • Not everything needs to have steaks in it

    • Rogue one made me feel like that, no stakes and pretty pointless.

    • @Hopkin Family The best prequel I've seen is Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. X-Men: First Class is also pretty good.

    • @Benri It was the best (or least worst depending on your point of view) of the Disney Star Wars films.

  • The problem with this show was that we know all of the main characters survive, and they just didn't give the original characters time to make us care about them. The result was that there were 6 episodes with literally no stakes in them and basically just explaining some backstories and lore that didn't really needed to be explained. Also creating some hilarious time and continuity errors.

    • @MJJ which fans though? How is deconstructing a beloved OT character fan service?

    • I think they call that fan service

    • I didn't watch the show, but I have a feeling it's in part because Disney is trying for mass appeal. Part of that mass appeal is appealing to people who've never seen the original Star wars or maybe even the prequels. I know, heresy. I feel like if you pretend you've never seen Star Wars Obi-Wan gets better. Maybe. Seems like a general family appeal thing. For more hardcore star wars fans you're not going to get much out of it and you're probably going to be annoyed. I just was never interested in the first place.

  • "What I got you gotta give it to a Reva" killed me. Never change guys. You just made a shitty day a lot better, thank you

    • "Disney turned the franchise into fifa with lightsabers." This hit home hard

  • This was a super honest Honest Trailer, that went more for honesty than humor. I appreciate that

    • The line “looks bad for a movie but good for a TV show” is exactly how I feel about all the Disney+ shows so far lol

  • I loved the part when Obi-Wan said “I Quied when you were Gon” when Qui Gons force ghost appeared

    • 😂😂

    • EPIC VOICE GUY PLEASE SAY THIS

    • I tried to wipe the hair off my screen that is your profile pic

    • With this joke you threw a Mace on the Wind-u

    • This was better than any of their actual jokes in the starring section.

  • "You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker, I did". Honestly the best scene in the whole series

    • @Я Ага From a certain point of view, everyone is Darth Vader.

    • the only good one

    • @Я Ага not that bright i see

    • @Harold B so... From a certain point of view Obi-wan is Darth Vader?

    • From a certain point of view.

  • Fun fact one of the Jedi's in those pods is a master of Asoka. They had a whole arc together where he teaches her patience. So that could easily be something you see in the future. If Asoka knew he was down there she would go save him. He was one of the only Jedi with a white light saber like Asoka, meaning he had more neutral views of the force then all other Jedi.

    • But are they alive? Or is it a giant mausoleum?

  • After watching Marvels “What if?” I’m kinda interested what a Star Wars one would look like. What kinda episodes do y’all think they would make? For example “ what if Qui-Gon trained Anakin?”

    • @Ju thanks

    • you should check the comics Star Wars: Infinities

  • Surprised there was no commentary about how both Riva and the other inquisitor dude straight took light sabers through the chest and left for dead but miraculously walked it off like no big deal. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @Reignman she survived by the greatest power known to film and tv. She healed off screen.

    • @Mingusboodle can’t argue with that logic

    • @Mingusboodle nice seeing an old reference to a great movie

    • @Triple-D26 I don’t see how it work for him. Made no sense

    • @kbowman772 that wouldn’t really fit with earth Vader’s personality.

  • "It's literally the only way Sith get promoted" that had me rolling! 🤣

  • I was waiting for you to say how dark the episodes were. Like for real, sometimes we couldn't tell whether it was Obi-Wan or the battle for Winterfell we were watching.

    • There was a battle for Winterfell? I thought they edited that out with 10 minutes of black screen

  • "With more sass than Carrie Fisher if she were actually born into Royalty" That line is pure genius.

  • The line “looks bad for a movie but good for a TV show” is exactly how I feel about all the Disney+ shows so far lol

  • I'm just so glad for Hayden Christensen. He signed onto Star Wars to play Vader, and he really didn't get that chance in full until now.

    • @Lances Beat Axes Yeah. There's an interview with Mark Hamill where he said during the original movie, he told him "This just isn't how people talk in real life, George". By the time of the prequels, it's possible George Lucas was too drunk on his own success to accept input on dialogue at that point.

    • @Lucy Dover Need more than heels to reach Vader's height. Anything that extreme would be clearly obvious. Check out their media, they have two different people that do the full body shots a of Vader.

    • @Jordan Rickel You're not wrong. He couldn't even get a good performance out of Natalie Portman--a really accomplished actress--either.

    • @Razumen Wasn’t he wearing heels? I thought the heels were built into the suit? and he’s already 6 foot 2 so the heels probs added even more height 😭

  • I think they missed a huge opportunity when young Leia asked Obi-wan why she should trust him. He should have answered “Because I’m your only hope.” Would have turned that “Help me, Obi-wan Kenobi. You’re my only hope.” recording into a cute in-joke between them.

  • Cant believe Wade didn’t get a mention. His death was so emotional

  • Solid review. Makes fun of the dumb things, while also highlighting the few good things.

  • When talking about the harassment of Moses he said "modern star wars fandom". It's not a modern thing, it has been around for many years like the actors of Anakin and Jar Jar getting bullied online. But now finally we have enough people calling out this behaviour (about time). Also I'm pretty sure thats less than 0.1% of the actual fandom. It should be called out but calling it "the fandom" makes it seem like 50% of us are like this.

    • The people defending obi-won are just too annoying and loud to ignore....when I say ignore I mean laugh historically at the their flawed ideals.

    • Agreed. Plus, whenever anyone makes a fair criticism, we get grouped in with the toxic ones.

    • Idk about less than 0.1% 👀 I'd say at least 10%

  • Hayden's acting was both great and terrible in the prequels but I do think it's mostly due to the script and bad directing. One thing he was always able to do without fail was portray a hell of a lot of emotion through his eyes and hold scenes with nothing but a stare.

    • I’ve said the same for years. When he was directed to emote pain or anguish silently he did a FANTASTIC JOB. And they gave him lines about hating sand. He was done totally dirty by audiences for being ignorant that it was a direction and dialogue issue, not an acting one.

    • More retroactive continuity here than in the prequels themselves, Christensen appeared on the goosebumps episode night of the living dummy and he was the most wooden thing about it, now he's some underappreciated ahead of his time thespian artiste, Christensen was never a particularly good actor, there's nothing like nostalgia for rose tinted glasses and the prequels are a part of many people's childhoods I guess

    • @Bryan A The original trilogy was the best, on many levels. The prequel was less good. The sequel trilogy was woke garbage.

    • It wasn't his fault. It was George Lucas making the story subservient to the spectacle. Technically, he showed Anakin's character arc, but it just wasn't very convincing. It just seemed like he was strong/weak depending on what the plot demanded. Lucas without his original crew surrounding him, is not the best storyteller.

    • That's basically what bad acting is, staring

  • Not being able to forget the joy I felt when watching Star Wars Episode I in theaters makes this hurt all the more.

  • Dood! The 🌶 lyrics for Flea's character and his goal made me chuckle hard. 😅 These guys are genius-level with their wit.

  • Obi wan memes never gets old just like those younglings

  • Watching the prequels dub in other languages is actually a great experience it fix Soo much of the bad lines or delivers

    • @Jeury Rabassa there is a fan made animated film which is beautiful, it's called x wing vs tie fighter or something you can find it on ID-tv. Also I believe there is an official star wars anime now, an anthology

    • @lifeisnotaproblem That makes me want to see a Star Wars anime.

    • Star Wars in Japanese dub is gold.

  • Its nice to see that fans (even Screen Junkies) are finally giving Hayden Christensen the respect he deserves after they all crucified him for his performance in the prequels when in fact the blame goes to Lucas' writing

    • It's about 50/50

    • Did you already forget the "I hate sand" conversation that won Padme over?

    • @Bocage Landscape didn't You also harass jar jar's voice actor by that logic?

    • The prequels never were Bad movies Please take your sophist talk somewhere else @DK_Lounge

  • "It's literally the only way Sith get promoted" lol that's so damn true.

  • Omg, this was so funny, especially the first half. With all the clips of the Obi-Wan roasting I laughed so hard my stomach hurt XD

  • I just realized I havent seen a Honest trailer, what would I like to see there? And then it hit me, they had to have done it, im so happy you did.

  • My main complaints would be the lightsaber wounds that weren't fatal, Reva's storyline wherein she was willing to kill her own kind to take revenge on someone who killed her own kind, though I guess it was just a chosen few. (her family) and also how long it took Leia to fix the damn wires

  • Ewan McGregor keeping up the trend of being the best part of any Star Wars project he’s in.

    • @C. Ray: when Disney preemptively puts out “We are proud to welcome Moses Ingram to the Star Wars family and excited for Reva’s story to unfold. If anyone intends to make her feel in any way unwelcome, we have only one thing to say: we resist.” before the show starts, and then they (along with Ewan with that stupid, emasculating video he put out) go into full “you’re racist” freak out mode after the first few episodes come out when people with IQ’s above 0 start criticizing the fact that Reva isn’t a good character and Moses didn’t do a good job playing her, they’re accusing the fanbase of being bigots to distract from their failure. Was Moses sent horrible stuff? Yeah, every public figure from A-list celebrities to ID-tvrs with under 1 million subs get horrible stuff sent to them all the time, trolls are gonna do what they do, but the “problem” was nowhere near the level they made it out to be and their overreaction made it obvious that it was nothing more than virtue signaling and a lame attempt to distract from the dung heap they had tired to put lipstick on. They did the same thing back with the ST when they accused the fanbase of being sexist because they had let bad writers into the studio and they made a bad female character.

    • @BekkfXst “accuse”?? When people literally wrote racist tweets to the actress, it’s not accusations, it’s just fact.

    • sup

    • @grandmaster Jim if you're triggered by someone say 'please stop being racist', maybe you're the racist? Hey racists? Stop being racist! See! If you aren't racist, then why feel a victim about someone merely saying PLEASE STOP BEING RACIST.

    • @jediping unlike the actors who accused fans on social media instead of just shutting their mouths and just act?

  • im glad you gave Hayden his props, he deserves it

  • My biggest issue with the series is how it didn’t have any stakes. We already know the fate of the characters from the OT, and the show didn’t do a good enough job at making me care about the new characters like Reva. Because of that, all of the times it tried to build tension just fell flat and felt kind of ridiculous.

    • @Not a Potato Yup

    • @Troy Warren They didn’t write the comment, how these bots work is that they just copy paste an already popular comment so their profile gets views.

    • @Troy Warren 😂 You are right, that dude forgot to switch accounts before commenting

    • Think you may have commented with your scam account instead of your primary bro.

  • I loved the part there he said: "My name is Kenobi, Obi-Wan Kenobi!"

  • Ok you got me, lol. "And the one lesson Disney can't seem to learn"... [Senator Organa]: "It's the past. Be done with it" LMFAO! Thanks guys. Great vid.

  • I like how Inquisitors basically have the skill level to murder children, burnt out jedi, and civilians and yet Reva thought she could actually go up against the dude who has the all time record for killing Jedi. At 5:28 she realizes what a grave error this was.

    • @crank fastle she did a pretty great job performance-wise, wtf are all of you people on about?

    • @anamericangypsy He knew she was coming, Im sure vader wouldve stopped her from doing that also

    • I don't see why she had to swing.. or yell and swing. She could have just walked up with her light sabre in hand... clicked the button to turn it on right behind him and it turns on through him... done and doner.

    • I did kinda enjoy how the portrayed that Reva at the top of her game was an easier fight for Vader than a burnt out Obi-wan (their first meeting in the series). Both were easy for Vader, but Obi-wan could actually swing through while he could stop Reva without drawing his light-saber.

    • @Will don't put all the blame on her bad acting usually comes from bad directing. I think it's unfair to throw all the ish at the actress.

  • I just love when you put obscure Simpsons references in these trailers.

  • 2:10 Killed me because it’s really one of the few tropes that’s been overused but it really does work every time

  • Yeah that's pretty much how I feel about it, I really want to like it, it's got some good moments, but god damn the even mediocre stuff sticks out.

  • 😂😂this literally has me in tears and coughing up a storm i'm laughing so hard. freakin hilarious 😭😭💀💀✌🏽

  • Let's just give some extra appreciation for Hayden's acting for the most part with barely half of his face and loaded with prosthetics or CGI manipulation. When he's given little he give it all.

  • Wow… just wow. The scene where it shows all the different Jedi in pods. Disney really has no limit.

  • Ewan McGregor keeping up the trend of being the best part of any Star Wars project he’s in.

  • Omg, this was so funny, especially the first half. With all the clips of the Obi-Wan roasting I laughed so hard my stomach hurt XD

  • Reva’s forced “redemption” via changing her mind about killing Luke (what about all the other kids and fellow force users you killed when you supposedly hate Vader for killing kids and fellow force users??) gave me WandaVision “they’ll never know what you sacrificed for them” twisted morality vibes.

    • @gurney She was lashing out at any target that presented itself. Not exactly new for people that are hooked on the Dark Side.

    • @CLove511 indeed. mostly because it's a process not an event. Vader died for his redemption so never got a chance beyond that. redemption is recognising the problem and spending the rest of your life working to be better than you were. knowing you may never be forgiven but, trying to right yourself anyway.

    • @crank fastle She deserved that and Harry Potter proved you can send someone to a magic prison and they still get out anyway somehow. It would've added to her character by making her more insane justifiably.

    • What was supposed to be her motivation for killing Luke anyway? I don't get it. Also, how did she know about Luke?

    • @Gérard Lacroix Someone on the internet capable of critical thought? Why you gotta be so rare?

  • "What I got I gotta give to a Reva!" that's the best roast I've heard so far. I didn't like Flea being cast, but I guess they saved a lot of money by not having to make him look weird, could have used it on Reva's look.

    • Thanks for watching and congratulation 🎉🎉You have been selected among my shortlisted winners who will be given a pc …….. . Telegram me only to claim your prize 🎉🎉.

  • Obi Wan was known for his sass on all 7 seasons of The Clone Wars which annoyed Anakin at times. If Vader knew who Leia was and witnessed her sassing him, he'd think, "That's my girl."

  • Bwahaha! This is definitely in my top 3 Honest Trailers! 🤣🤣🤣❤️

  • Man I burst out laughing when he said "and the next nine years are gonna suck even more"....got everybody on the train looking at me now. Thanks Screen Junkies.😂😂😂

  • "OK, this scene makes sense now" did it for me 🤣🤣🤣

  • The most amazing part is coming up with the "Ben, Her" title! What a stunner and a good laugh!

  • Ben, Her...I just can't stop laughing. :D Loved the show btw, love boba fet, mand o,OG movies, prequals and sequals IMO they are staying pretty close to the source material in that it's all very inconsistent

    • Yeah, this show has more plot holes than half-eaten by a mouse swiss cheese wheel.

    • how on earth is it consistent and close to the source material? they break continuity at every turn

  • The “LOUD quiet LOUD” school of villainy….the easiest way to show the character is unhinged 😅

  • Considering the original trilogy, there’s something so right about the fact that even though it was Hayden in the suit they still got James Earl Jones to do the voice.

    • @William Mobley he was actually at the end when he kept going from Vader to Anakin's voice which was awesome btw.

    • @Don't read profile photo 🤣🤣🤣🤣best comment ever!!

    • halo

    • @Brando Calrissian it’s James Earl Jones bro… that’s his voice whether or not he voiced it 😅. He was credited in ep 3

    • @Kron Staro you sound like you’re confusing yourself buddy

  • "Disney turned the franchise into fifa with lightsabers." This hit home hard🤣

  • "Disney turned the franchise into fifa with lightsabers." This hit home hard🤣

  • "Disney turned the franchise into fifa with lightsabers." This hit home hard🤣

  • 2:10 Killed me because it’s really one of the few tropes that’s been overused but it really does work every time 😂😂

  • That "Ben - Her" joke is pretty clever. Love it

    • @Cuzjudd also that it was long for such a simple story. It's just a kidnap arc dragging on for 6 hours

    • Should have called it "Leia & Reva show"

    • I'm not sure I'd call it clever

    • @iowa89357 T-Fang complex

    • @Cuzjudd Ben = obi wan "Ben" Kenobi Her = Leia. Show is mainly about obi wan rescuing Leia. And yes, play on Ben Hur.

  • "Ben, Her" good lord you guys are absolutely amazing haha keep them coming

  • Honestly the last fight scene was really infuriating to me- a huge part of whole show is about anakin and bens relationship- when they meet and are about to start fighting there’s Hardly any dialogue at all. And then it makes you even more confused about the force. Even yoda and obi wan in the prequels couldn’t start a ‘rock storm’ or whatever that was. Why is ben all of the sudden able to do that? Also obi wan could hardly use the force just days before that. And then he defeats darth Vader (which shouldn’t be possible given all his years of being inactive) and then he just walks away. WTF??? Why didn’t he finish him off? Absolutely no explanation is given why he didn’t finish him off at all. That’s just one plot hole out of many infuriating ones in the show

    • My big complaint is how powerful Vader is in this show. Compare him in this show to A New Hope. I can excuse Obi-wan because he was never trying to defeat Vader in ANH, he was just stalking for tone so Luke could escape. He lets Vader kill him, and makes sure that Luke sees it. But Vader? What canonical explanation is there for why he's so much weaker and slower in 10 years?

    • @Gregory Moore lol

    • Obi Wan couldn't finish Vader off right then because Vader needed to be available later to strike Obi Wan down so that Obi Wan could become more powerful than Vader could possibly image. Plus Vader needed to be available to throw the Emperor down that shaft thus brining balance to the Force. Even if it was only temporary.

  • "Ben, Her" was priceless omfg I cant stop laughing

  • Gonna be honest, I loved this series. I thought the pacing was great, the characters were great, and thr story worked very well imo. Say whatever u want about, but I will always love it

  • If there’s anything we learned from this show…lightsabers are harmless now….unless being used to cut through blast doors

    • Why fight with lightsabers at all since the force can stop them? Just fight with the force. You’ll have an easier time killing someone that way since lightsabers seem to be made of just light and no heat or deadly energy anymore 🙄

    • They’re very good at giving you disfiguring but non lethal injuries.

    • They’re very good at giving you disfiguring but non lethal injuries.

    • @Abbadon Wilson Yes, but it would also superheat the surrounding tissue causing massive damage, organ failure, shock, etc; I mean, Vader held it in there for approx 2 seconds & it's at least 8000°C, possibly 25,0000°C, and it should be noted water molecules break apart into oxygen & hydrogen at 2200°C. Overall you'd expect most of her torso to be cooked through, if not charred to ash.

    • watch sao abridged

  • Every Vader scene was amazing

  • 5:02 YES!! I love that, that was brilliant. I do like it when Flea pops up in film or tv, shame they killed him off but still I had fun!

  • "It's literally the only way Sith get promoted" lol that's so damn true

  • You got me at "Stop wearing jedi robes"😂😂😂

  • After watching this series it made me appreciate the Star Wars Prequel trilogy a lot more than ever.

    • @Chase Hedges67 qui-gon and Obi wan v darts mail was pretty awesome tho lbr haha

    • @DocAxt how did kenobi make the sequels better? It shares literally no characters with them besides Leia and 2 seconds of luke.

    • Funny... that was my reaction when watching those disney movies. That I shall not name lol

    • The only reason the Prequel Trilogy kinda sorta works now is because we've had 20 years of fill-in shows that plug in all of Lucas' plot holes.

    • Wait until u find out SW9 is the worst one.

  • "or forgotten how twins work" That line. LOL

  • The Simpsons reference killed me 😂...much appreciate it.

  • "It's literally the only way Sith get promoted." I snorted at that!

  • Appreciated hearing Honest Trailer Guy apply his voice to quotes from the last two films I've seen there at the end. (a multiverse movie double feature!)

  • Being a Star Wars fan is like being in an abusive relationship

    • @Taner Archibald Jake Lloyd had his childhood life ruined by his peers, not by "fans".

    • @PunchFor Pound Now I'm waiting for all the Thrawn and Wedge fans telling you how wrong you are about Legends, and the KotOR fans to tell you how you don't even know about the best piece of Star Wars media, and the inevitable flame-fest between OT and PT fans.

    • @David Wührer Which do I like? OT and PT. Never read Legends or any of the comics. Who has time for all this stuff? Quality over quantity.

    • @PunchFor Pound OT, PT, or Legends?

  • This has to be one of my favorite Honest Trailers in a while. I laughed out loud a few times.

  • 3:16 made me laugh so hard.

  • Love how the first ever kenoboi trailer had duel of fates playing, and we never heard it in the show 😐

  • Ben-Her. Literally the perfect title for the series LOL Nicely done, team, nicely done...

  • Show was a missed opportunity to show more of Obi and Vaders internal and external struggles. Too much emphasis was put on other characters

    • @Saeronor Well you tell me which films Hayden gave great acting performances in during his 20 year career and I'll go check it out.

    • @Saeronor Not many because most of the movies he did in the 17 years since Sith, went straight to video. I'm not going to the Dollar store to look for his DVDs.

    • @Jonathan Acs Like seriously a missed opportunity. If they really were so desperate for a Darth Vader vs Kenobi fight, it could have been in his Force trials like Yoda in the Clone Wars show. He fights Vader but it's not actually him but he thinks it is Vader.

    • @Kal El Why doesn't he ever do it on film?

    • I‘m curious… how the hell would you have done that?

  • “Don’t bully Moses Ingram” Proceeds to mock her acting 2 seconds later 😂

    • That is totally different because she got bullied because of her race and even before the 1st episode streamed

  • Lol On point n every commentary given. Would really love this honest trailer cld cover all the easy ridiculous multiple non fatal lightsaber full chest puncture stabs.

  • If there’s anything we learned from this show…lightsabers are harmless now….unless being used to cut through blast doors

  • "the one lesson Disney can't afford to learn" PREACH

  • I *totally* wasn't expecting Doctor Sleep to be amongst the "grumpy warrior protects cute, sassy kid" series but I'm glad it was. No wonder Ewan and Vivien made the dynamic work so well! 😆

    • hello senour

    • I was honestly surprised they didn't throw Hopper and El in there too.

    • @Brando Calrissian what are you talking about? Basically every time she does anything in the show or is left on her own for any length of time she makes it worse or gets kidnapped. The one thing she "solves" (getting them out of the base in 5) they just needed someone small and intelligent for. It wasnt some impossible mary sue thing.

    • It didn't work well at all. They had a 10 year old girl be smarter and more resourceful than one of the greatest jedi ever. This show was terrible.

  • Every Vader scene was amazing

  • "It's literally the only way Sith get promoted" lol that's so damn true.😬😂😬😍😃

  • Ewan McGregor keeping up the trend of being the best part of any Star Wars project he’s in.

  • "What I got I gotta give it to a reva"!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Absolute gold!!

  • My favorite part of these honest trailers is the starring section and they've really outdone themselves this time with "Cool-Male Non-Jedi" for Kumail Nanjiani

    • and neon genesis revangelion, im deaddd XD XD

    • Yeah, and right on the heels of the Flea one, which already had me laughing.

    • @The Rocky Guy have you seen The Big Sick? Sure, it’s based on his life, so he plays a comedian, but he gets to flex his acting muscles a bit there.

    • @The Rocky Guy I've never been overly impressed by his acting.

    • I don't know what acting range he has, but in a way I feel sorry for him because of the voice he has. With how his voice is, he has no place in anything other than comedy.

  • Seeing Darth Vader in this Star Wars makes it EPIC!

  • I'm looking forward to the day when a black actor can just be a bad actor without pulling the race card (or in this case a poorly written inappropriately cast actor which had zero to do with the colour of her skin)

    • @cymond yea, very true.

    • I'm not sure where the line is between bad acting and bad directing. I suspect that she gave them exactly what they were looking for.

  • 3:25 LOL no one was uneasy about the Darth voice and in fact everyone seems to agree it was nearly flawless. OH! You went to We Got This Covered! There's your problem, I don't think they've ever been right, and it's usually safer to assume the opposite of whatever they print.

  • 4:41 this one made me laugh lmao

  • "You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker, I did". Honestly the best scene in the whole series

    • Just like Disney SW movies seem like someone imagined a couple of "cool scenes" and THEN tried to make a movie to justify them, this reeks of someone building a TV show back from that particular moment and failing laughably hard everywhere else.

    • It’s good until you start thinking about it and how it fits into the whole. Then it’s lazy writing that tries to fix something that didn’t need to be fixed. And Obi leaving Vader alive after that line makes Obi look like a complete POS. Another great character, assassinated. 😭 Obi Wan, I fangirled you for so long. Now I’m heartbroken 💔 what did the evil cartoon mouse do to you?

    • @N P 💯💯💯. Exactly

    • @Chase Hedges67 The whole show has lazy writing with good actors. I would say they spent all their money on the actors and left none for the writers but episode 7,8,9 and half of their other projects tells me differently. The Writers are just bad.

    • @Nightmare no I'm not the show was pretty bad better than book of Boba Fett the inquisitors acted like nitwits in episodes 1-3 even obi-wan was dumb this show could have been a show about obi-wan risinng up from is low point instead he is a defeated old man who is weak up till the last episode for no reason focused way to much on child leia but darth vader was cool

  • I had fun watching this and the show. Win win boys it's just great when you are able to just enjoy things while not going full movie critique mode about it.

    • Just turn off your brain and consume product 😜 who needs good writing or interesting characters or for things to make any kind of sense, like at all. I genuinely don’t understand this mentality. The original Star Wars didn’t need you to turn your brain off and that was fun.

    • my mind doesnt work like that i cant just turn it off and consume content like a child anymore. especially if its an IP im already interested in like star wars. disney has everything they need in Star Wars to tell compelling and imaginative stories but they are more concerned with gender politics and being woke. i want to be entertained not lectured.

  • Give me the chills with the line "Welcome to PlayPaintChill. You just gained honor +2 for following us ! ".
