• Wait, Jake Vail, the prankster, use to be a pro skater?

  • Move to spotify is a bad idea, being able to see the guest interaction is what makes this. Rip supercuts

  • Why he have to say Atlanta and Chicago when comparing the Ethiopian skate park 🤦‍♂️

  • Joe please tell Tony Hawk to make a movie from his video game Tony Hawks Underground. It's one of the best stories and it would be nice to see that come to life for tv compared to most things that are filmed nowadays. 🙏 Please tell him

  • Waiting until joe gets Lebron on the podcast

  • glad to see skating really coming back.

  • Tony Hawk is a Global icon He was doing tech tricks on vert in the 80’s That are still heavy to this Day!. Street Skateboarding is like a fight against concrete and metal Every time u skate.! The biggest hits I’ve ever taken Were dished out by concrete Not in actual fights,, I’d take a punch to the face over getting smashed on a 13 stair hand rail Any Day!!. Respect The Hawk Sheer Master .!!!🔥💯👍

  • I remember shooting our skate video on an old camcorder before the interent and smartphones, shit before cellphones. We only saw skaters in real life or in videos you had to buy and then go home and watch. Literally making it up as we went 😂, these kids will never know struggle 😂

  • Joe "the human dream" Rogan

  • the way he says "wave" is like the quintessential surfer dude voice. whehve

  • This dude look a lot like Tony Hawk. I wonder what he's been up to these days.

  • THE BIRD MAN !!!

  • Does he ask Tony of he's ever done DMT

  • You should have Jaws on, he's the most insane skater of all time

  • can't help but laugh at Joe whenever he says, "Oh woow"

  • Interview travis pastrana

  • hi

    • Need to get Rob Dyrdek on

  • Was at La Jolla Shores for Memorial day and you couldn't set up with like towels and chairs. You could go play in the water but if you're on the beach, they wanted people moving around, walking or whatever. Had an area designated for surfing that people couldn't just hang out in the water. Parking lot was closed. Had to park on the streets. So bizarre.

    • This is a man I can't look at without hearing Superman

  • Just me who thinks he sounds like Steve-O?

  • I love Tony hawk, this dude is my childhood hero 👏👏👏👏👏🙌🙌👌👌

  • San Diego represent!

  • Tony Hawk mentioned Seth Rogen, which made me think that I can't be the only person who'd like to see Rogan interview Rogen.....

  • This really makes me want to see Rodney Mullen on the JRE. The godfather of street skating and an all around nice guy.

  • I grew up watching everything Tony Hawk did!!! I remember watching the first 900 live at the x games!! 🤘

  • Do a kickflip!!! Haha

  • I saw Tony hawk in Newport Beach hard Rock Cafe parking lot. 1994. He walked away with golds in every competition. The G.O.A.T. vert.

  • Joe is always asking the right questions

  • When I was a kid i got to see an event. After that i bugged my parents for a board. We built a halfpipe in my buddy's backyard. It lasted 2 weeks. when his older brother broke his leg flying out of the ramp, dad tore it down.

  • Where does Joe get all those great Print T-Shirts?

  • SOTY #1 on the podcast. Skate and Destroy/Create. Hell yeah, Rogen

  • Tony Hawk is such a cool humble dude, filling the room with positive vibes! what a legend

  • This is a man I can't look at without hearing Superman

  • Need to get Rob Dyrdek on

  • Anything that is a supplement developed by Bill Romanowski, I am not interested in it. The former FB player who is infamous for substance abuse and finding ways to play dirty. No way I am trusting anything from B. Romanowski.

  • Tony hawk pro skater... 🎶🎼

  • Rad Joe good guest get another skater on here

  • the fringe element doesn't like fringe hmmm go figure In the movie dogtown, it bugged me that the character Jay Adams basically shined on that slinky commercial because that would have changed his mother's and his lives for the better but he thought it was uncool and kind of sell outish. I mean if that did happen I bet he still or was (as he's dead now I think) kicking himself for not taking the money and looking stupid for a day cause ten k back then was a lot of money. You could buy three new cars with that. Ya man if you get good opportunities to improve your life definitely consider it. I bet if he had asked any of those dudes he hung with about it they would've ya take the friggin money buy a house so your mom aint working crappy jobs as much. I mean the money would have changed their lives and he was just being a selfish typical kid and that bugs me when kids do that, I mean does that bother anyone else when kids do that, I mean make stupid decisions that reflect on them the rest of their lives? Because that one decision played the biggest factor to Jay going down hill and not in a good way. Thanks Joe for doing this interview

  • Who's that guy Joe is talking to? He looks a lot like that Tony Hawk guy. Wonder what he's up to these days?

  • when I first heard that skateboarding was becoming an olympic event I thought it was a joke

  • Need to get Chad Muska on...that would be legendary.

  • 1:35:43 “not huge but it’s fun” Lol that’s what she said.

  • He needs to have Rodney mullen on the podcast so he can explain where tech Street skating came from

  • Joe seems to know about a lot of things, skateboarding is not one of them

  • Awesome podcast, Tony Hawk and Joe Rogan two of the biggest names in their fields.

  • Tony didn't want to mention names but...Duane Peters and Tas Papas come to mind in both references...

  • He needs to have Danny way on the pod cast to talk about the great wall, mega ramp, and his cross training and general stories.

  • Get rob dyrdek on

  • love seeing action sport icons on your podcast, next up Scotty Cranmer? Bmx would benefit hugely from this type of platform.

  • So Tony Hawk and Steve Irwin are the best people to grace this planet in my lifetime

  • Would be awesome to see Tony get in good shape. After he's got to go confront his bullies from the 80s - look out Duane Peters!

  • Joe Rogan interviewing Tony Hawk about skateboarding is like Steven A Smith trying to interview Joe Rogan about MMA 😂😂

  • And even if you don't make a living off of doing what you love it doesn't mean that you have to stop doing it. Figure it out and have fun.

  • Me getting excited every time Tony mentions the ‘Video Games’ for an awesome chat about THPS - Joe quickly dismisses it and moved on clearly unaware of the generation-defining phenomenon those games and soundtracks were.

  • Jorge Jesus, is that you?

  • Would love Joe to get Pharrell Williams on the Podcast.

  • First Joe Rogan show I’ve watched all the way through. Not that I don’t like Joe l, he’s great. But I came here for Tony haha. I enjoy listening to him, because I feel like he’s just a regular guy.

  • 36:20 Joe that's normal. I live in Finland n I go to my sauna when it's about 100 celsius (212 fahrenheit) It's the ideal temperature for sauna. And sometimes it's even 120 celsius (250 fahrenheit) 😂

  • Dang. Joe's podcast going to Spotify. I wonder how many will cross over? I won’t. I will only see him if the old ones remain on ID-tv or if a random account holder uploads the Spotify episodes to ID-tv.

  • When he was talking about pro at 14 he got bit confused what pro is :D in the next sentence he said no one offered him contracts nor he had. the only thing that tick box meant if he had sponsors.

  • DO A KICKFLIP!!

  • Joe “that’s like martial arts” Rogan

  • Tony hawk is the man! No drug scandals..... none of that Tiger woods shit either. He is such a great rep for skateboarding and role model for kids.

  • Mark Gonzales rail sliders a Cadillac tail fin in the rain

  • Such a great guest, so many great stories

    • Tony hawk is a cool dude. Very honest and just does what he loves. Have to respect that.

  • Joel Rohgin is a man oof the poople 😄

  • Joe "oh wow 100mil"rogan

  • Hometown hero. Nothing but great stories about this guy in carlsbad neighborhoods. Cool cat

  • It might look like San Diego is healthy, doing good and home of Top Gun and the seals and all that bullshit, etc.,but that is just a tiny part, while at the border and in TJ there are much worse effects happening, this will spread unstopped to San Diego and LA because so many people from Baja cross and work every single day

  • 51:28 haha no man it’s from all the g forces cornering a race car lol

  • Travis Pastrana on JRE anyone?? ☝️

  • Not a particular fan of skateboarding but I really enjoyed this interview. Tony definitely has an interesting life story. And when they were reminiscing about the 80s and 90s I had some correlating memories of my own. I had some friends that were really good at skateboarding but I never took to it. Dirt bikes became my thing and man do I ever have a lot of great memories dirt biking in the 90s!

  • please invite Travis Pastrana on :) he and Joe could just talk injuries alone haha

  • Joe "do you read the comments??" Rogan
