So happy for richarlison right now! What a performance
I am a neutral fan but i really think united were a victim of their own tactics. One of the worst displays of time waisting i have seen in awhile. Ref had a shocker as well.
We donโt have what it takes to go to spurs and outplay them. Spurs wouldโve finished us way easier if we went and attacked them for 90 minutes, their players are level above ours.

It wasn't United throwing two balls on the pitch every time we were attacking. Six times it happened. Coincidence ๐. Our team is very unfit and it was roasting in there. Hence the cramping and injuries BTW:Our keeper got assaulted and needs stitches and Basham was elbowed in the neck with no repercussions. You getnothing in this league unless you're part of the big six cartel. It was ever thus.

A glory hunter wishes us relegation because our squad that cost 20 million didn't try to play like Man City against a squad costing 100 times more than ours. Referee was a shocking mugger, and Shefield was just as big a horror show. The goalkeeper should never call himself a proper player. What a disgrace. Glad Shefield lost with such a horrible tactic. They deserved it

Spurs fan here. I have to agree with others, the refereeing display was appalling. He lost control of the game very early on. The red card at that stage of the game was diabolical. All the best for the season and I hope you stay up.

Spurs outshot Blades 28 to 7, 70% possession to 30%, corners 15 to 2 and then Blades fans crying that they deserved something from the match. It's apparently the ref's fault. That's some amazing coping skills.

Thought London worked so hard, a bit thuggish at times but maybe just about deserved to scrape the win. However there's no consistency, if you add on time for fouls and general slow timing then there would be 10 to 15 minutes added on every match, but there isn't.
Have you watched the prem this season? Most games have around 10 mins added on. Itโs new rules

United fell victim to their own tactic. Too much time wasting. I get the sit back and defend, park the bus. But the timewasting was so unnecessary, and it costs them in the end.
Ange fan here, but you guys played great defensive football, you frustrated them, your defensive concentration was amazing and the structure was so solid - you also looked dangerous when you did manage to get it back - I think the header tip into space when playing long from the keeper really presented a problem for them and you executed it really well. Obviously there is some pretty special stuff going on with how the spurs are playing, and its not luck that defeated you, but I really cannot also say that its luck you almost pulled of the win. You guys will do well this season as it comes together, you have a great manager.
I think sometimes you have to credit good teams. Spurs dug it out and grinded a result, sign of a good team. I thought Hecky got our tactics spot on and genuinely not sure how he's added 12 minutes, regardless we should defend our box better for both goals. We deserved a draw and got nothing. Also to note, the referee was horrendous for both teams. Ths standard of officiating in this league is diabolical. If we remain competitive as we are i honestly think we stay up.
Time wasting tactics?
@David Copson tactics were spot on, hence why you struggled for at least 90% of the game. Spurs were poor, it's as straight forward as that.
@SUFCMeeseGlad then a "poor" Spurs beat a time wasting team who came with a negative approach and a paid-off ref. It's as straightforward as that.

Just seen the daily fail say the club are considering sacking Hecky and bringing back Wilder. Normally i would just laugh as they are well known to just make stuff up. But i had alarm bells ringing at what the prince said about getting advice from CW. All i can say is if this ever happens then i'm 100% done. I've been a blade for 40+ years and i've seen the various boards make some incredibly bonehead decisions, but this would trump the lot! CW has alienated all his players at 3 different clubs since lockdown. He's a busted flush. Hecky is doing a terrific job under extremely difficult circumstances. If either the prince or any of the board are even 1% considering this as a sensible option, they quite frankly need to go and lie down in a dark room and leave footballing decisions to somebody else.
Are you on the windup? I've supported United for 50 years and he's had us playing the best football in my time and had us outplaying the big 6 in spells with ordinary players. Even Warnock and Bassett couldn't achieve that. Hecky gained promotion last season but he had one of the best squads in the Championship and we were pre-season favourites, so it was a good achievement but not a great achievement. Also last season out style of play was never convincing. We played good football in spells but at other times were very defensive and even kick and rush. We managed to battle out results though but in many games we never looked a top 2 team. Hecky is very average and will struggle to get another management job but he does deserve more time. Regards Wilder it's like putting a stick of dynamite on the team, could go either way, be great or a disaster, either wouldn't surprise me but for what he's done for our club he deserves massive respect and should have a stature outside the stadium really. Our rise from the bottom of league 1 to 6th in the Premier League playing passing football was incredible, never seen anything like it since the great Brian Clough.
At this point it doesn't look like Man city's going down any soon but still hope for a spurs Liverpool West ham Brighton top 4 this season.

If your team ain't good enough to score goals in the normal given time, then they shouldn't rely on extra time and go back to the drawing board.
