  • What a shitty list. Some movies are so compelling you HAVE to watch them more than once, like Schindler's List or the Passion of Christ. Some of the movies are too upsetting to watch even ONCE. Like 120 days of Sodom, Human Centipede which my common sense told me to give a pass, or Irreversible, which I couldn't finish after... well... you know... he finished.

  • Graveyard of the Fireflies, The Boy in the Striped Pygamas

  • Fat Girl. Easily the most upsetting ending to any movie I've ever seen.

  • Wheres gunno???

  • How Is 120 days of Sodom an honorable mention? That movie is unwatchable!

  • Where is a Serbian movie xD

  • I have not seen Schindler’s list twice! The first time I read a book that did not better the film!

  • that ryan reynolds movie buried is one that i cant watch again, ive tried. showed how good he really was before he got huge.

  • Oh yea a jewish movie had to be number 1 ... gotta keep up the lie

  • Only the jewish people can't watch the passion of christ

  • I’ve seen requiem for a dream like 37 times lmao

  • Sophie's Choice is fucking devastating. Can't watch it again.

  • American Sniper and Fox Catcher

  • Candy with Heath Ledger and Abbie Cornish. I mean it's a brilliant movie, it's just really disturbing.

  • How did A Serbian Film not end up on here?

  • I can't believe they left out the first 10 minutes of Up.. you will NEVER watch that twice lol 😭

  • Based on what the addicts I know have said, Requiem for a Dream is a poor example of what addiction is like except for the one girl enjoying attention when she performs sex acts. Otherwise it's pretty ham fisted.

  • I saw the PG version of The Human Centipede. It was call The Human Centipede with Mouthwash.

  • Damn no list in the description? Now I gotta pause and write them down

  • *Apocalypse Now,* Francis Ford Coppola's take on the Vietnam War. The ending scene with Marlon Brando, shows an actual tribe hacking to death a live Water Buffalo in a ritual sacrifice....

  • Michelle Williams, one of today's finest actors? I thought she was only noticed these days for having Heath Ledger's kid...

  • What about An American Crime?

  • You left out Sophie’s Choice, The Champ and Monster.

  • No man´s land( Nicija Zemlja), Amores perros, Sophie´s choice, Requiem for a dream, ...

  • I am a 34 year old American woman, I consider myself well-versed in the cinematic realm (specifically in shocking or traumatizing movies), and I can absolutely say I have not yet seen a movie that I would not watch again because it was "too disturbing." The only reason I wouldn't re-watch a movie is if I thought it was a bad movie or it bored me the first time. I will gladly take your absolute best "worst" suggestions if you think you can register on my shock-o-meter. Lol

  • Honestly think The Boy In the Blue Striped Pajamas should've been on here.

  • i watched the mist about 10 times

  • How tf isn't Irreversible at #1????

  • Sophies Choice. Great acting, heartbreaking to watch.

  • I just watched "Very Bad Things" with Cameron Diaz. One movie I'd not be able to watch again.

  • Put any NTR here tho, and it could work. But we all know you'll watch it more than twice.

  • Oh sht, I remember the mist. It could've been the 1st "depressing" ending I've seen in a movie. I actually do wanna see it again XD

  • Brokeback Mountain?

  • I seriously never watched passion of the Christ again

  • I was surprised that An American Crime wasn't on this list. I literally had anxiety attacks from knowing such evil could exist

  • I agree with Requiem for a dream But Johnny Got His gun????? It was even harder.

  • I saw three movies in this list , and all three will remain in my memory , passion of Christ for violence , requim of a dream for bad decisions , and schindlers list for that little girl in red dress , that was the peak of emotion in that movie , many people broke down after seeing that .

  • Two movies that should be on here is "What Dreams May Come" and "Melancholia" both make you want cry every 10 mins

  • The Deer Hunter was disturbing, especially the Russian roulette scenes

  • Requiem for a Dream really fucked me up

  • Makes you want to watch them again

  • The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover

  • season one episode one of black mirror. i actually threw up after watching it

  • 12 years a slave was too much to watch twice

  • An old horror movie called Society.

  • Irreversible is BY FAR the worst movie I have ever seen. It truly scarred me when I watched it when I was about 18. Today I am 32 and I still have flashbacks to it. The experience of watching it is definitely “irreversible” and I don’t want to recommend it to anyone.

  • The Hillary Swank movie "Boys Don't Cry" is the only movie I've ever watched where I said that. An awesome movie but so emotional that I swore never to watch it again. I knew many young men just like those guys and picture that movie whenever I see their types, like the Trumps.

  • Deliverance

  • *Nailed that one.*

  • Million dollar baby should be on the list

  • Beast of no nation should be on this list.

  • Seven should never been made stars brad pit

  • lolita should’ve been on here

  • FCK you!!! schindlers list is some very bad bad Propaganda movie. because of movies like this, we Germans cant do nothing about the flooding of our Country with illegals right now. and you know what? the People we let in are muslims. THEY hate the jews. they are so antisemitic that the jews are now part of the far right in Germany. but how should you guys know? just watching movvies. there is a real world guys. go check it

  • Grave of the Fireflies? A Serbian Film? Bastard out of Carolina????

  • how the fuck is blue valentine harder to watch twice than irreversible

  • Requiem for a dream is on my list of top favorite movies!! Everyone should see it at least once! I agree Requiem for a dream, spun and trainspotting should all be played for teen's before they are tempted to dabble with hardcore drugs.

  • The color purple wtf. That movie ive watches 15 times

  • Happiness

  • not without my daughter

  • As an African American on my list would definitely be Mississippi Burning, A Time To Kill and 12 Yrs A Slave. 😟😟

  • Requiem for a dream messed me up bad. That was the first movie I thought about when I saw this title. I love the color purple though I've seen it many times, read the book, and was in the play.

  • I agree with passion of the Christ and the pianist, I couldn't rewatch those films, though they were both amazing. The newest movie I've seen that I thought, wow that was amazing but too intense to re watch was hacksaw ridge. I have re-watched the mist multiple times and green mile but I can see why some people wouldn't be able to.

  • Okja was depressing.

  • Some of these appear to upsetting to watch once.

  • Dogville.

  • Perfect compilation

  • Now when it comes to dancer in the dark can't watch that again that when they kill my friend Björk. devastating. Even she told me she can't do another movie because of that film. The only other one she did was when she was younger in juniper tree but no comparison to dance her! Love ya Baby Gudmunsdóttir

  • Regarding a Passion of the Christ people can't look at the cross after what Jesus did for all of us? There's an evil in this world and if people don't believe in it and think it's just me movies are they going to fight it when it's breathing down their neck? The only way they can fight it is with the shield and the armor of Jesus. So it's vital to look at the cross as depressing and sad as it is because that's where you're going to find your savior, not in Superman Wonder Woman or Batman Luke Skywalker Obi-Wan Kenobi or Yoda! God be with you all. These are the days the end of days in Revelations 13

  • Grave of the Fireflies thinks this list is adorable.

  • # warning # most disturbing movie of all time which I won’t ever watch again as I cried like a baby- ‘Earthlings!’

  • The mist is dumb

  • You missed 8 mm. Disturbing

  • Saving private Ryan

  • I couldn’t even finish the human centipede

  • The Girl Next Door was extremely disturbing for me

    • ZoeyRainsMom I couldn’t believe it either.

    • +Steph V.D. I bet. Because it is a true story is why it disturbed me so bad.

    • It sure is a disturbing movie but the true story behind it is worse.

  • I love the theme from requiem, sends shivers down my spine and a sense of awe just listening to it

  • I watch The Passion of The Christ EVERY Easter... 🤷🏻‍♀️

  • "The Mudge Boy" should be at the top of the list.

  • My dad had me watch green mile at 12 🙂 im... Like... You dont even know how scarred I was

  • 12 years a slave. Boring as hell. What was the message of the film? Slavery sucks. Oh, well, paaaardon meeee! We’ve only had 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 other films about how slavery sucks. What brilliant original idea is next, a movie about how nazis were evil? Oh yeah that one hasn’t been done.

  • The Green Mile always gets me. Pissed me off and made me cry. 12 Years a Slave...I have no words.

  • Alice should be on this list

  • I'm not even going to lie the last bit of the mist made me cry like a baby never watched it again.

  • Brokeback mountain ? That movie was even better the second time I watched it. If it’s because of how sad that is you could add “grave of the fireflies” instead. Now THAT is something I can’t watch again.

  • As soon as they showed the girl in the red jacket tears flowed for me.

  • requiem for a dream was unlike any film I've ever watched. It was not exactly a horror film, but it was so haunting and so disturbing. Just thinking about it gives me the chills.

  • We Catholics watch passion of the Christ every Easter :p

  • Praise Jesus for what He did for us.

  • Sophie's Choice

  • They forgot about the Last House on the Left the rape scene was sickening

  • Seriously, I've seen the mist like 12 times and I love watching schlinders list. Its is amazing I've seen it at least 25 times

  • I...watch passion of Christ every year on holy week. Just because. 🙂

  • No daughter of mine should've been on here :^(

  • They made us watch the Passion of Christ in school 😷

  • 11:10 "MIND BLOWING"

  • Weak list. Two words: *JACOB'S LADDER* Everyone must see it. Twice. Beautiful but intense, emotionally and visually, it is very much a genuinely upsetting, heavy film. And everyone's had a sip of it, knowingly or not, via the infamous line from the chiropractic scene. "If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace..." But these things are subjective, of course. It's just a matter of how you look at it, that's all.

  • 8MM - made me sick.

  • smh i’d watch the green mile a million times if i could

  • Ryan Gosling, a serious actor. Don 't make people laugh. I know he has become successful but so was Robert Mitchum and he claimed any dummy can act.
