  • Baby Blues is a movie I could never watch again.

  • Mother was the one movie that got me.... so weird and violent in the end

  • Cries From Syria should be included on a list like this for Documentaries. Barely got through it and there's no possible way I can rewatch it

  • I saw the mist and was enthralled by its solid plot line

  • LIFE IS HOT IN CRACK TOWN. WATCH IT

  • What movie do you think is too upsetting to watch twice? Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father. I guess it’s a documentary, but I just couldn’t watch it more than once 😢

    • Sanjana Verma yeah me too 😢 it broke my heart

    • I just watched it today and my heart is totally shattered. 😢

Grave of the Fireflies 4.) Grave of the Fireflies 3.) Grave of the Fireflies 2.) Grave of the Fireflies 1.) Grave of the Goddamn Fireflies

    • +NOISE Two orphans, brother and sister, trying to survive in Japan during World War II. 2nd time watching it is more brutal than the first.

    • Whats it about

  • Well i have watched 4 of em

  • War horse and Braveheart should be on this list too

  • Totally agree with Passion of the Christ....it was traumatizing.

  • I watched requim for a dream like 10 times, and I watch it atleast once in a year. It is sucha masterpiece. Movie is simply perfect.

  • I’d say “Gerald’s Game” should’ve been on there, I don’t think I can watch that ordeal again

  • West Side story should have been on here. The ending literally broke my heart

    • absolutely not. it goes no where near the line that some of these movies crossed

  • How can Inland Empire not be on this list?

  • Omg yes i watched schindlers list when i was about 12...cried for the rest of the day!! Devastating.

  • "Mask" is a movie I can only watch halfway through. The ending is WAY TOO sad.

  • 10. The Passion of the Christ 9. Brokeback Mountain 8. The Mist 7. Dancer in the Dark 6. The Green Mile 5. Irréversible 4. Blue Valentine 3. Requiem for a Dream 2. 12 Years a Slave 1. Schindler’s List

    • I saw Irreversible while living in Europe right after it came out on dvd and don't ever want to see it again. It was disturbing on so many levels.

  • "The Skin I Live In". This movie is a complete mind fuck. You won't see the twist at the end coming. It's a great movie, but much like "Requiem For a Dream", it's too dark to watch multiple times. It will stay with you LOOONG after the movie has ended.

  • Peter Jacksons ‘braindead’. 😁

  • How did you not list "grave of the fireflies"?

  • The Lovely Bones. That one IS disturbing.

  • Natural Born killers and Riding in cars with boys are hard for me to watch

  • Requiem For a Dream so under the radar. Love this movie, so haunting watch every time on cable, hv the dvd. Just shivers.

  • I should have not try watching the 120days of sodom.. trust me its really depressing... same with shindlers , boy in stripped pajamas, i am a hero (japanese zombie like film)

  • Growning up I had to watch " Passion of the Christ" every Easter... and now I hate Easter

  • The _Mist_ as you all guessed is a documentary about the life of..... *Grasshoppers*

  • Sophie’s Choice

  • The grey zone

  • Requiem for a Dream is more sad than Schindler's List

  • The ending of "The Mist" was a let down.

  • Okja should be on here

  • The Last Jedi...

  • The original "Night of the Living Dead"...scarred me as a child up to this day.The original 50's version, where the people are holed up in a shack invaded by zombies to the highest level of futility and no way out... Can't watch to this day.

  • The Road should have been an honorable mention. The grayest film I've ever seen, both literally and metaphorically.

  • Boy in the Striped Pajamas is definitely hard to watch Schindler's List made me think of that one. And I think any movie that depicts the Holocaust is some of the hardest.

  • I've only seen a few of theirs but if it's Steven King or Quentin Tarrantino. I know it'll probably leave me physically ill and give me nightmares.

  • I think KIDS 1995 it’s very hard to watch too Idk if I like it or not I just cant

  • I loved The Green Mile. Still breaks my heart every time but it is magical. I think the Saw movies are deeply disturbing as well as the Hostel franchise.

  • I watched Requiem for a Dream in my Addictions class and it made me so physically upset at the end I needed to leave the classroom.

  • The Elephant Man. I cried for days and I'm not a 'crier'.

  • I find so much hope in Schindler's List. It is a reminder that even in the midst of horror, goodness exists. The one movie I will never watch again is Thelma and Louise.

  • The Elephant Man should be on this list

  • I agree with pretty much everything on this list. Every movie I've seen that's on it, I would never watch again, nor recommend to anyone. I think my own list would include Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, that flick had me almost vomiting/ I dunno if it was the cuts and camera work, or the subject matter, all of it or what, but I felt incredibly nauseous watching that one.

  • Brokeback mountain is too fucking disgusting to watch a second time. I’ve also seen Schindler’s list about 8 fucking times.

  • I don’t care what u say the mist ending was hilarious

  • I'm surprised Serbian Film didn't make the list.

  • It should be 120 days in sodoma

  • I Spit on Your grave is one THAT'S should definitely be on this list

  • clockwork orange ?

  • Only saw when it was released, Sophie's Choice is sad and depressing. Odd how it's never been televised, to me knowldge.

  • Django Unchained was also a slave movie I wouldn't watch again. Never saw 12 years a slave before.

  • A Clockwork Orange should be on this list.

  • Jesus dying for our sins is not upsetting. The fact that he did it shows GOD's love for us that HE would give his only begotten son so we can have eternal life.

  • what i find infinitely more disturbing is that people find an expression of love between two men more disgusting than the sight of them beating the crap out of each other now, that's what I call sick

  • I watched "The Mist" three times, and fuck you for saying only a sick person would watch it twice... It's just an amazing film, a true horror in terms of the story with real emotional weight at the end...

  • I still watch Broke Back Mountain,I just don't watch the ending tbh

  • I’ve watched the green mile more than once, and can’t get enough of this film.

  • Honorable mention: "Tusk" .... don't even. It's awful, and I don't mean it's a bad movie. It's brilliant and awful.

  • Dogville

  • BLASPHEMY!!

  • I owned “Requiem...” and although I still think it’s the most disturbing movie I’ve ever seen, I think it’s one of the most powerful movies ever. Darren Aronofski (sbs) is amazing.

  • I couldn't watch 'Begotten' twice. 1 1/8 is far as I got

  • Hillary Swank's rape scene in Boys Don't Cry. Will never watch again.

  • Serbian Film and Cannibal Holocaust belong on this list over the weird slave movies

  • Swindlers List

  • Agreed with all the ones I have seen Except the Color Purple. Rewatched dozens of times its a classic

  • "Brokeback Mountain", was a beautiful film. It made me cry and horrified.

  • "grave of the fireflies" anyone????

  • Watch spring summer fall winter and spring

  • Broke back mountain is my favorite and I won't be able to watch it again

  • So let me get this straight - if I was to watch “The Mist” right now that would make me a sick individual?, fuck you!, I’m watching anyway.

  • The Elephant Man. Johnny Got His Gun.

  • I've been waiting for someone to say the seasoning house.

  • Funny Games?

  • The mist wasnt even that bad. It wasn't, the end was pretty hellish. But the movie itself wasnt that bad.

  • I will never watch sleepers again

  • 'Gummo' was a disgusting movie. I wish I could get out of my head.

  • I thought the movie 'The Mist' was one of the dumbest/boring movies ever but people have told me more than once at times that I'm crazy. Also the last Halloween movie put me to sleep it wasn't scary at all! Just my opinion. But I can't watch Passion of the Christ after seeing it just once. It's heart breaking and tragic to say the least

  • I've never been able to watch Schindler's List, or 12 Years a Slave.

  • I will never watch Dancer In the Dark again! Omg, seriously the most heartbreaking movie ever!

  • hold up... salo is an honorable mention?!!?!?! that's upsetting in itself... and way to pick the most tame Lars Von Trier movie... anti-christ or nympho deserve are waaaaay more disturbing

  • The bucket list is very depressing movie ever, because its based on everyones real life situation.

  • I can't believe Manchester by the Sea isn't on this list. That movie traumatized me

  • How is the passion of the Christ only #10?

  • Hotel Rwanda is at the top of my list

  • What about “The Passion of the Christ”? I could not watch it. It was too intense.

  • Requiem for a dream is my favorite movie, I've watch it several times

  • I've watched the Green Mile more than once. It's one of my favorite movies, and I have the heart and courage to watch it more than once.

  • No Prisoners? That movie is brutal

  • Sooo WatchMojo forgot “Fruitvale Station”. I literally watched the movie once in school and I will probably never be able to watch it again.

  • The PASSION OF THE CHRIST is an amazing movie it shouldn't be on this list

  • 11.) My life.

  • Number 10: "Passion of the Christ" Gee, I wonder how it ends

  • I would have put We Have to Talk About Kevin over some of these for sure.

  • Imitation game

  • The Mist...? Ok, I guess.... definitely Green Mile for me. Requiem is the most fucked up movie I've ever watched but I've seen it more than once.
